Sensei Antonio began his martial arts journey with Judo in 1977 and Karate in 1979 in the Azores, Portugal. A regional and national medalist in kumite, kata, and team events, he also served as a regional coach in Portugal. Since moving to Canada in 1989, he has held leadership roles with Karate Ontario, including Director, Vice President, and President, and was named Official of the Year multiple times by Karate Ontario and Karate Canada. As an international referee, he officiated at three World Championships. Currently certified by Karate Ontario and NCCP as a national coach, Sensei Antonio’s dojo has produced regional and provincial champions for 35 years, along with international and world champions. Above all, he values developing students into skilled instructors, professionals, and exceptional human beings. He believes Karate-Do builds character and promotes peace.

Kenzo Dozono is a 9th Dan Shotokan Karate master and founder of S.K.I.F. Belleville, established in 1969. With over 50 years of dedication to martial arts, he has trained numerous national and international champions and earned multiple world titles in kata and kumite. A Technical Director and Chief Examiner of SKIF Karate Canada, he also served as Chair of the Ontario Karate Federation’s Technical Committee. Honored with awards such as the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal and inducted into the Belleville Sports Hall of Fame, Sensei Dozono continues to be a guiding force in Canadian karate.

Sensei Roy has been training in Shotokan Karate for 56 years and has earned the Rank of 8th Dan; using Budo and health preservation, he has guided hundreds of students of all ages to unlock their potential. Having trained with various masters, Sensei Roy believes that every session is a mini vacation, and when completed, you are left with a feeling of, I did it (survived), growing in confidence and skill.
